Every album has that special song, that song which is always among the favorites of the artist, the producer, the label, and yet it is not one of the singles. That song is 'Nueva Zelanda', not a bad thing considering that Ruinas Futuras has been one of the albums of 2021 for the Spanish Music Media*. Tim Gane, who already produced Big Flash for Wild Honey, also thought that Nueva Zelanda is that special song.
The leader of the revered Stereolab, now in charge of Cavern of Anti-Matter, has remixed it and the result is sensational. Cinematic psychedelia, playful drum machines, and sumptuous synthesizers reshape the Wild Honey’s original into what could be an alternate take of an Emperor Tomato Ketchup's tracks.
